In order to promote the percentage of education in the state and empower the development of the state, the system was implemented by the AP state government. Education Minister Dr. Audimulapu Suresh has announced that the list of Amma Vodi beneficiaries has been published online and that a comprehensive list will be announced on 26 December 2020 and the final list will be announced on 30 December 2020. From 64533 state schools, there are around 7274674 students from class 1st to 10th, and there are around 10.94 lakh intermediate students. By 9 January 2021, the benefit amount will be transferred to the beneficiary's bank account.

The parents are asked to spare Rs 1000 from the benefit amount in the school for sanitization maintenance. The government shall take all necessary steps in order to provide benefits to all eligible beneficiaries. The scheme is being transparently implemented. The amount of the benefit is directly transferred by the Chief Minister to the beneficiary's account.

On Tuesday, 16 June 2020, Finance Minister B Rajendranath Reddy of the State of Andhra Pradesh presented the budget for the upcoming fiscal year at the Velagapudi State Assembly. In this budget, out of Rs 2,24,789.18 crore, the state government has allocated Rs 22,604 crore to the education sector. Amma Vodi Scheme Qualifications:

• Magani per family should not exceed 3 acres .. or more than 10 acres of fallow land .. or more than 10 acres in total.
• Family income in rural areas should not exceed Rs.10,000 per month and Rs.12,000 per month in urban areas..
• More than 300 units a month should not be consumed by the electricity bill. Or, for the past six months, the new bill should not have consumed 1800 units
• Amma Vodi does not apply if in the name of someone in the family there is a four-wheeler. Tractors, taxis, and vehicles are exempted from this provision, however.
• 1000 sq. Ft. In municipalities .. Not applicable if houses have more than 1200 sq. Ft. In villages.
• Those who've paid income tax previously are ineligible.

Payment of the Benefit

• An amount of Rs.15000/- per year will be sent to all beneficiary mothers/guardians the department concerned whose names will be on the list.
• The beneficiaries will only receive funds in the online mode under this scheme.
• Financial assistance will be transferred directly to the beneficiary's registered and verified account.
• The fund will be transferred to the beneficiary's account every year in the month of January until the child completes the intermediate account. If a child discontinues his / her education, they will not be provided assistance.
• No assistance will be provided after the completion of intermediate/ class XII.
